500-ton Four-column Hydraulic Press Mold Installation Steps
1. The unused mold should be disassembled first and moved to a dry and ventilated warehouse.
2. First, check whether the mold to be installed is in good appearance, the mold screws are ready, and the necessary tools are also ready.
3. Clean the mold, especially the upper and lower surfaces where the slider and the work surface are in contact, so as not to affect the accuracy after installation.
4. If the mold is too heavy, you can use a forklift to lift it to the work surface of the four-column hydraulic press. If it is not heavy, you can use manual transportation, but pay attention to installation and do not touch the column of the equipment.
5. Operate the 500-ton four-column hydraulic press and move the slider down to contact the top of the mold. Adjust the horizontal relative position and tighten the upper fixing bolts.
6. Then adjust the lower mold and fix it.
7. Then manually operate the equipment to check whether the upper and lower molds are in good contact when closing the mold, and adjust them.
8. Adjust the mold by repeated manual pressure testing and adjustment. After 5-10 normal tests, pressurize and run automatically.
Precautions for Hydraulic Press Mold Installation
1. Before installing the mold, clean the upper plane of the hydraulic press workbench and the lower plane of the slider to ensure good contact between the bearing surfaces.
2. When installing the mold, make the force center as consistent as possible with the center of the four-column hydraulic press workbench.
3. Safety columns must be used when installing and maintaining the mold to ensure the safety of workers.
4. Turn off the main power supply of the oil pump and each motor, and then place a bracket on the workbench to support the beam to move downward or to make the mold completely closed.
5. Manually lift the movable beam and remove the bracket, and then select the working mode conversion switch as needed.
6. Put the movable beam of the four-column hydraulic press back to its original position to prevent the movable beam from overtravel.
7. Do not hit the mold with a hammer or hard objects during installation to avoid damage.
8. After installation, it should be carefully checked first, and the machine can be tested only when there is no fault.
